Lindsay is the amalgamation of pop culture and pop cuisine. Who better to feed the stars than a chef that looks like a star. Born May 22, 1986 in Milford, Connecticut, Lindsay has always had a fascination for food. In her earlier days, happy athletic days full of snowboarding, skiing, dance, activities that require one to push oneself, Lindsay learned individuality and the benefit of relying on one's self.
Lindsay’s taste for fine foods and creating dishes were born with this type of determination. A girl who excelled at male sports was bound to develop gourmet food that doesn't make you obese. With fine healthy cuisine she found her true calling. At an insecure point in her life Lindsay became concerned about her appearance and concentrated on the types of foods that were going into her body. Instead of eating out all the time and on the fly, she started to cook for herself, her friends and her family. With minimal experience in the kitchen and no expectations of a career in the food industry she started her journey by mixing different foods together and experimenting with different tastes. Today she is a certified Chef
and graduate of the 'Kitchen Academy'
All the years of cooking for herself helped her to appreciate the art of eating and enjoying food. All the solitary tests began to pay off. Her appreciation for food has led her to expand her mind and see what other people have enjoyed when it comes to eating and cooking.
Since her humble beginnings, Lindsay has carved out a niche amongst celebrities, earning her way into celebrity homes through the kitchen door. She looks like a model, cooks like an Iron Chef, and counts calories like Richard Simmons. All this earned her the status of Chef to the Stars. Teaming up with celebrity writer/photographer Christopher Ameruoso, Lindsay and Christopher have created “Star Dishes”, a syndicated page that takes the reader a into the kitchens and restaurants of celebrities, exposing the audience to the foods stars enjoy.
Whether it’s Hulk and Brooke Hogan's good old fashion breakfast's or Haylie and Hillary Duff’s quick on the go desert or Steve Valentine's bachelor meal, you can be sure that it is something the reader will yearn to taste with each and every episode.
“Star Dishes” will be compiled into a star studded cook book and a one hour special.
At only 20 years of age Chef Lindsay Crolius will be making an impact in the food world. Her stunning looks and life expeiences are a recipe for success.
Lindsay has recently filmed a pilot for her own cooking show. She is working on her own magazine, 'Star Dishes'. She has her own feature Star Dishes in "Salon City" magazine, 'Paw Print' magazine, and a cooking for your dog column called 'Pawfect Dishes'. She recently taped a new series for WE net, America's Cutest puppy. She was also featured as a celebrity Chef on 'A&E's' Criss Angels Mind Freak as well as 'E!' s 'The Girls Next Door'.
